Chiropractor Lawrence Berntsen D.C.

Post graduate studies have included attending the Masters Certification Program at the Spine Research Institute of San Diego to become certified in treating patients with whiplash and back injuries, resulting from car collisions. This series of courses was taught by Dr. Arthur Croft, D.C., who wrote several text books, including Whiplash and Mild Traumatic Brain Injuries.

While the spine is a complicated area of the body, his expertise is in properly diagnosing neck and back injuries, providing effective treatment to help eliminate pain, healing the injured tissues and to assist his patients in returning to a normal, active life. He is passionate about the needs and welfare of his patients and always enjoys helping them to regain their health and peace of mind.

A Childhood Touched by Chiropractic Care

When Dr. Berntsen was eight years old, his dad slipped and fell on the icy steps and hurt his back so severely that he couldn’t get up, walk or go to work. To see his dad in so much pain was scary stuff for a kid. His older brothers were able to slide him into the back seat of the family car, and take him to the chiropractor. Within two hours, he was able to walk again and return to work. His mother was overjoyed, and he never forgot about what the chiropractor did for his father.
